The Brigade is built around service through structure, care, and access. Our approach centers on supporting veterans by creating spaces that restore belonging, confidence, and momentum during and after transition out of the military. Programming is designed to meet veterans where they are — socially, professionally, and emotionally — while removing unnecessary friction to participation. We combine thoughtful event design with clear structure, trusted partnerships, and intentional facilitation to foster real connection, peer support, and opportunity. Every initiative prioritizes dignity, safety, and community, ensuring veterans feel seen, respected, and supported while building pathways to civilian life, networks, and long-term stability.
Event Strategy & Design
I contributed to the strategic planning of events with a focus on veteran-centered experience design. I participated in venue discussions to ensure spaces aligned with the needs of veterans, including comfort, accessibility, and tone. I helped shape event structure, pacing, and format to reduce social pressure while encouraging meaningful interaction. Programming decisions prioritized consistency and clarity so attendees could return feeling familiar with the environment and expectations.
Execution & Coordination
I managed end-to-end event execution, including run of show, partner coordination, on-site logistics, and real-time facilitation. On the day of each event, I operated hands-on to ensure the space remained calm, welcoming, and responsive to attendees. Adjustments were made in real time to support comfort, accessibility, and flow, allowing veterans to engage at their own pace while maintaining a structured and reliable environment.
Sponsorships
I supported sponsorship coordination and partner alignment for The Brigade, including collaboration with HSBC. This involved participating in conversations around sponsor integration to ensure partnerships aligned with the mission of supporting veterans while maintaining a respectful, purpose-driven event environment.
